About Dimi – the Mind behind Old Dragon

I’m Dimi Zaharcenko, co-founder of 2Brothers Ink SK-Brush.de, artist, tattoo artist – and creator of Old Dragon Rum.
What looks like two completely different worlds – tattoos and spirits – is for me an expression of the same passion: creativity, craftsmanship, and personality.

From the First Stroke to My Own Brand

My journey didn’t start with rum, but with pinstriping, airbrush, and then tattoo.
As a pinstriping artist and airbrush studio operator, I found my way into art early on, and after 8 years of running a successful studio, I also discovered the art of tattooing.

My tattoo specialties are cover-ups, color, realism, mandalas, geometric patterns dotwork, as well as whip shading. But my creativity doesn’t end with skin: With SK-Brush, I enhance noble vehicles and classic cars with hand-drawn lines – including classics from Rolls-Royce.

From Europe to Asia and across the world’s oceans – I travel globally. As a tattoo artist on the TUI Mein Schiff fleet, I combine my love for tattooing with traveling. In my studios, I place great importance on comfort and a relaxed atmosphere. With heated massage beds, entertainment during the session, and personal consultation, I ensure that every client feels at ease.

And then Came Old Dragon

For a long time, I’ve been carrying the idea of creating something of my own, something liquid. A rum that doesn’t just taste good – but noticeably carries my personality.
In 2024, I turned this thought into reality.
Old Dragon Rum is my project – born from the studio, composed with heart, and full of character.

The golden dragon skeleton on the bottle represents my birth year in the Chinese Year of the Dragon. The taste? A finely balanced composition of Caribbean rums from Jamaica and Venezuela, with an elegant banana note. Complex, but accessible. Noble, but not pretentious.
Like a tattoo that not everyone wears – but everyone looks at.

Even though rum is a new chapter, I remain an artist with passion.
